RESPONSIBLE TO:  Childcare Coordinator
                                       Children’s Education Associate
                                       Education and Practice Committee 

PURPOSE: To assist in providing a quality childcare program on Sunday mornings, as well as for special events when available. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    To be present in assigned work area on Sunday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  

2.    To interact with parents and children, and to become known as a welcoming and familiar presence to Westminster’s youngest members and their families. 

3.    To supervise the play and care of the children in your care. 

4.    To assume other duties as assigned by the Childcare Coordinator or Children’s Education Associate 

5.    To provide childcare for special events, when available. 

LENGTH OF SERVICE: One-year contract, renewable. 

TRAINING PROVIDED: Workshops on approval of staff.  

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidate will enjoy children and be enthusiastic and creative.  

COMPENSATION:  Childcare workers will be paid $8.00-10.00 per hour for time worked.  The hourly wage will be reviewed annually.  Increases will be given for continued service and quality work.
