JOB TITLE: Communications & Financial Assistant 

PURPOSE: 

To facilitate the bulk communications of the church; to be responsible for layout, design and printing services for all church activities and programs; to assist in the financial record-keeping of the church. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Produces layouts, copies, folds and cuts all in-house church bulletins, newsletters, brochures, programs, inserts, stationary, envelopes, directories, signs, tickets, literature, and other printed items as ordered by various church staff and committees, and oversees the outsourcing of all such printing that cannot be done in-house. 

2. Administrates the church web site, regularly updating content and design, and actively soliciting input from the staff. 

3. Performs bookkeeping duties. 

4. Inventories, maintains and orders as needed all paper supplies and printing stock, including all in-house and out-of-house stationary, envelopes, and other printed materials. 

5. Administers the program of bulk electronic communications, generating the routine emails and maintaining the contact database. 

6. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

RELATIONSHIPS:

Accountable to the Business Administrator for workload and other job related problems. Works with the Pastor/Head of Staff for bulletins; the Chimes Editor for the Chimes and with staff persons or committee chairs for each print job ordered. 

ACCOUNTABILITY: 

To the Business Administrator, and ultimately to the Pastor/Head of Staff.                             

EVALUATION:

Performance reviews will be conducted annually by the Business Administrator and the Pastor/Head of Staff. The level of compensation will be reviewed annually by the Personnel Committee.
