Yes, “Presby” is a made-up word no computer likes. It always gets the red squiggly line under it. But we like it. We love these groups because they spell long-lasting friendship and good fun. What’s not to like?
We have Presby groups who gather just about every month to eat and talk, have fun and share fellowship together. Some organize a program along with the meal. Others just enjoy the social time together. Some have been meeting for years. Others have formed more recently.
There’s always room in one of these groups for anyone or couple interested in joining. It’s a great way to get to know others at WPC socially, form lasting friendships, and to have some great meals.
We are a group of older adults that dine out together once a month and have special activities during the summer and in December. We also do various service tasks as needed.

The Lambda group does a variety of activities including tours, speakers (Washing Township Speakers), and getting together for meals. This year we are planning on doing a "Done in a Day" service project for one of our meetings.

Our primary purpose is fellowship and caring for each other. Each Christmas, through a fun auction or just contributions, we raise $700 - $800 that is designated for a Westminster Family in need. We are very much interested in recruiting a few more couples 60-75 yrs. old to give encouragement to our six members in that age group!
Meetings: Monthly, often for for brunch after worship

We dine together once a month, either at a member's house or at a restaurant. Each member (or member couple) takes a turn at coordinating the monthly event. This year we have enjoyed the May Festival together, toured Woodland Cemetery, and have planned a beach getaway in October.

Our most recent event was meeting at Marion’s for pizza and then going to the Fraze for a concert. Our next meeting is at a member's for lawn games. We have also done things like play miniature golf, have a cookout, dine at a brewery, attend a play, and had pot luck at a member's house. Philos is also responsible for building the lily tree for Easter.
Philos recently met at Shen’s for an after church gathering to eat and socialize. On Good Friday, we will be decorating in the sanctuary. We are responsible for setting up the lily display in the chancel and in the narthex. The lily “tree” is built using a metal frame, some 1/2 round plywood, and fishing line. Afterwards the group then gathers at Dewey’s for dinner. Although we meet once month, the specifics for the next few months are yet to be determined.

We meet monthly to share a meal at a member's house or at a restaurant. Our members have supported each other in times of joy, illness, aging, and death. The group was created when the general name was still "Presbywed," and we have five couples who have reached their 50th anniversary! Several in the group have taken an active part in the ministry of the House of the People.

We love to gather to eat and enjoy each other’s company. In the past, we have enjoyed going to each other’s homes, restaurants, special excursions, celebrating the Anniversary of Flight, the Air Force Museum, birthdays, anniversaries, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. We have done lots of fun things including adopting a mascot. We definitely love to laugh.
Meetings: Monthly, on the 1st Saturday.
